Description

This was shot in southern Portugal during a summer vacation there, where I enjoyed jumping off the pier into the cold water. I could feel the adrenaline pumping through me... It was awesome!

Although the title might imply that I was alone out there, that was surely not the case in a sunny day like this one; I had to remove a bunch of people standing on the pier to achieve this dramatic look.

*UPDATE*
The description was slightly modified and the photo has been updated and improved as of 06/22/2011.

Nice composition.

Like the blue:ish tone.

Could work stronger with a longer exposure giving a smoother water surface and more classic look.

Thank you all :)

It was sunny day and a longer exposure would burn the sea waves at front and my compact camera can only go so far with the aperture. But I actually like this detailed water surface.

nice perspective and the composition is really great, but overall the image is a bit flat..... donno, maybe because of the tones.....I think b&w or sepia would add more drama...
